National Project Partners

Eight State Departments of Education and eight public broadcasting stations are working collaboratively within their regions to build local e-Learning for Educators programs that serve the teacher quality and professional development needs of each state.

The eight State Departments of Education and Public Broadcasting Stations include:

Alabama Alabama Public Television (APT) is the lead organization coordinating the project and the primary grant recipient.

The Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC), a nonprofit educational research and development organization and national leader in online professional development, provides training programs for e-learning instructors and developers, consulting on e-learning program planning and implementation, and e-learning course development services. 

The Boston College Technology and Assessment Study Collaborative (inTASC) is responsible for the project evaluation and for conducting randomized design studies of the impact of the e-Learning for Educators initiative.
