The original vision for these Local Educational Support Centers, as described in the New Hampshire Statewide Educational Technology Plan, is to provide technology enhanced support to all educators and schools within about a thirty mile radius of a center.

The mission of these centers is to provide high quality training opportunities that will empower teachers and show a positive correlation to student achievement. Programs will provide high quality professional development to increase teacher quality by increasing their content knowledge, teaching skills, and use of classroom technology.

Consortia of school districts have collaborated with higher education institutions and businesses to maximize the quality of professional development and to leverage resources in support of New Hampshire education. These centers offer targeted long-term professional development with a focus on technology. While many of the activities planned for these centers are statewide, each center is charged with meeting the needs of their region. Contact information for each Center is provided below. Visit any one of the following centers for current schedules of workshops, courses, and other activities being offered. While you will probably want to attend activities at the center nearest you, please feel free to attend at any of the centers offering the PD topics that you need.
