* Although New Hampshire standards for the areas of Educational Technology, Information Power, and World Languages have not been officially endorsed by the State Board of Education, we have included them on the site as an additional resource for NH educators.

There are variances in the organization of each framework:

End of Grade ranges:

  • English Language Arts and Mathematics have 3 grade ranges (PreK-3, 4-6 and 7-10).
  • Science and Social Studies have 2 grade ranges (PreK-6 and 7-10). Social Studies includes an additional grade range (11-12) only for the History strand.
  • Career Development has 4 grade ranges (PreK-4, 5-8, 9-10, and 11-12).
  • The Arts has 3 grade ranges (PreK-4, 5-8, and 9-12). (Other) Educational Technology and Information Power have 4 grade ranges (PreK-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12).
  • World Languages is organized into 5 stages instead of grade ranges.

Curriculum Standards:

  • Curriculum standards are numbered consecutively from one strand to the next for Career Development, English Language Arts, and Social Studies.
  • Curriculum standards begin renumbering (at 1) with each strand for Mathematics, Science, Educational Technology, and World Languages.
NHEON is a collaborative project between the New Hampshire Department of Education and educators all across the state.
