Area 1 - Portfolio
Assessment Rubrics
Grants to districts for this focus area provided the means of assembling a statewide Portfolio Assessment Rubrics Team. This team engaged in studying rubrics using a customized OPEN NH online course, then met in the summer to develop common rubrics for use with 8th grade portfolio assessment. After the team pilots these rubrics in the fall 2009, they will be widely disseminated. Districts will be able to adopt them for use as appropriate. Visit the ICT
Literacy Toolkit for resources related to this focus
area.
